]]> 216906-bigfullToday we are off to Motorhome Superstore in Alvarado Texas, the self proclaimed “Largest Motorhome Dealership in the World”. That may be true, we certainly are not going to do that research. Regardless their marketing & advertising certainly attracted our attention (well that and their inventory and solid sales staff – so far). We will be meeting with our salesperson named “Cowboy” who will be showing us around both the gas rigs and also the “diesel pushers.” We are not 100% sure what option we will end up going with but its pretty likely we’ll end up with a diesel since we’ll be living full time in the unit. We’ll take plenty of pictures and post a full review & update on what rv’s we looked at, which ones we liked and which ones fell short (and why).

2013-Challenger-37GT-Large-Bar-KitchenThere are certainly a lot of options out there, and you don’t have to spend 200k+ to get something decent. Check out this kitchen from a new Thor Motorcoach product called the Challenger 37GT. Not bad for under $130k brand new; really impressive. Thats just the kitchen, you also get double vanities and dual sinks in the bathroom! The question remains though, whats the build quality on something with that many features for that low of a price brand new? I guess we’ll find out wont we?
